Saint Michael’s Hospice strives to add quality to the lives of local people suffering from life-threatening illnesses, at no cost to them. Its services include a 10-bed in-patient unit, day therapy centre, lymphoedema clinic and bereavement support. It must raise £2 Million every year for running costs and depends largely on the generosity of the local community.

Unfortunately a very close family member of ours has been staying at the hospice and every little donation counts and will help us and the hospice in any way. I thank you all for the support and time you have given us.

My lovely mummy was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in July of last year, her condition is terminal and she is very ill, during this very difficult time St Michaels  hospice has offered her wonderful  medical, emotional and physical support and kindness, a place where she has gone and goes during this time and found great peace and  comfort. St Michaels is self funding and relies on the generosity of the local community, without places like St Michaels to care for people with  terminal illnesses like my mum who cant afford to go into paying private nursing homes – this provides an essential service. I am so grateful to everything they have done for both me and my mum Ann during this time.

I wondered if you would be kind enough to dig deep and sponsor Claire for this worthwhile cause, we hope to smash are little target,  it is essential that places like St Michaels can continue to provide these services for people who are sadly diagnosed with terminal illnesses during the remaining months of their lives.  Above all a massive thanks to Claire and good luck.   ”
